Some recent discussion on the forum about Pineapple led me to 9k's old "Good Guy" thread mentioned in Petscar's thread about his experience.
I should've linked it then, but better late than never.
Here it is.
Due to recent concerns and discussions about the authenticity of "new" engines from Pineapple Racing, I reached out to Rob and I'm satisfied with his reassurances that Pineapple does in fact sell completely NEW engines.
I'm having Luddite link sharing issues, bear with me.
I'll try to link the images later.

Here is the thread that prompted the discussion.
FWIW, I assumed they were new engines since Pineapple offered this engine for $6100 and also a reman for $4100.
Embedded in the thread is a screen shot of Rob's reply to FiftyFifty assuring him the engines are "brand new".
I was informed today that Rob at Pineapple has no idea when NEW engines will be available again.
I hate to give in to my cynical side, but it does leave me questioning things.
I offered to put a deposit on a NEW engine weeks ago until I was prepared to go through with the engine replacement.
Now that I'm ready to do it I'm informed that there are none available.
I'm really trying to give the benefit of the doubt here, but Idk what to think now.

I don't think you need to doubt what they told you then was true, or what they are telling you now is true. Both are likely true.
In my business, this has happened a million times since 2020. It's really getting old. I would not doubt that Pineapple is telling the truth.
Plus, if the engine in those pictures is not new, I am Fred Flintstone.
