It looks like I'll be visiting japan this summer for a couple weeks and wondering if anyone here has been to either one of these.

I'd love to see re-amemiya's shop but not sure if they let people just go see stuff or what. Has anyone been? Would it be worth taking the time to visit or not enough to see to be worth it?

I have to make this trip as cheap as possible, so I most likely wont be buying anything big, but I do kind of want to go see the autobacs in odaiba. I know that I'll be very tempted to buy stuff if I go, but would it be worth walking around it just to look at how JDM it is, or just skip it? I want to go see the gundam anyways...

 

I have a friend that owns this shop that works on the VQ/RB/2JZ motors and he visits Japan every here just for JDM culture/ family, mainly because he is from Tokyo. I think it is worth it but I would not no what to suggest about the money situation. I can tell you it will be a blast and you will probably have plenty of stories to tell.

lol, not holding out, but that is why. It was on very short notice and the only reason I can afford to go is cause I dont have to pay for hotels and will have some food costs covered for me. Basically need money for trains, some food and the plane ticket. Going with my girlfriend and most of her family lives there so free places to stay lol.
