As you can also see there is about 1.5 ft of crumple zone before you get to the the leg area.
|
looking great moon...keep up the good work!!!
:D: |
I see you tacked mounts for the headlights....
I might move them outward towards the wheel arches alittle more whn I get ahold of it,, I wanna keep that middle area as open as possible for the ducting... |
Yeh, we can do that, when I bring you #2 you can finish that off, im just trying to get all the leagalitys on it. The baulbs arnt DOT approved so I need to put the ones out of the streetbike in those housings. Look into flush mount street bike blinkers and running lights and see if you can find a set that works with your intended body lines.

this is so sick it makes me want to build one myself but too bad i am not that knowledgeable..... cant wait to see when this is finished

Holy crap, this thing with all its parts - 30 pounds, seats and all scaled in at 550 pounds.
|
Included wheels, spindles, A-arms, seats, motor, frame, front discs, and what ever else we threw on the scale not including hardwear.

Ok, got about 1/3 the surface rust off in about 3 hours, looking good in flat black primer. Also got the addapters set up to widden the rack and ready to be tigged. We were trying to figure out how to do the steering, even thought about making it removable but instead we think were going with a setup were you just slide it over to the middle when entering and exiting. It also needs to push foward and aft. Fully adjustable is what im looking for. Any ideas???
