Yes it possible... many are doing it.
Start off by using the helpful 'search' feature... it does work, trust me.

Ive been searching for a while now and all the high horse power cars are usually swaps and i dont wanna do a swap

Its full of Turbo and SC threads... only a few swaps!
Research a little harder...

The answers are really out there and are generally not difficult to find.
Basically it comes down to this:
200HP with bolt ons
Greater than 200HP is forced induction (turbo or super charger) or motor swap.
If you want to achieve greater than 300HP, you need to look into FI... thats it!
But REALLY take the time and read up on it.
