Yeah, I think the Panamera is more Cayenne than Cayman.

It is still a great station-wagon type for those who could not have a coupe with kids. And no matter what, still a lot better than any BMW.

I drove the 4s last night...Nothing special. Terrible blind spots and it felt like a boat. The power was nice though.

I can't put my finger on it, but something about the lines on the Panamera do not sit well with me.

Just got back from the Porsche dealer from buying a couple of oil plug washers. There was a Panamera out front next to an Audi A8, a BMW 7series, and a Mercedes. Say what you will about the odd look, it made the others look like shoe boxes. You can't help but look at it. The others were basically invisible. Then again, I don't know that that's necessarily a good thing.

I love the look of the Panamera for some reason but would be to big of a car for me.

The performance of the Turbo version is ridiculous. Didn't it overtake the CTS-V for fastest Nordschleife lap time?

It's profits from cars like Cayenne and Panamera that probably fund the development of the exciting Porsche's.

well put, it must really suck for the young whippersnappers when they get smoked by some old fart driving in style

5000# tow rating = ultimate race car hauler

if I only had that kind of money for an S version

apparently you forgot or didn't know that most of those same comments were made about the RX-8 when it came out. Some vehicles are so unique and different that it takes time before you warm up to and appreciate them.

I can't believe so many don't like it, I think its a great luxury step up from the Speed3. Reviews on it say it handles great (of course its a porsche), the 4S has some *****, and it seats 4 comfortably.

You are absolutely correct about taking time for a strange design to grow on you. I remember the first time I saw the new Audi front end with that large mouth that looked like a cross between a Bass and a Ford Edsel. Now I think it looks really good. The new Acuras on the other hand..........no hope.

It's different. I see them a lot here in south fla and southbeach and I think it's pretty ugly but it's all about being unique these days. I can't hate on it too bad, but then again I think Porsche can do no wrong....
