Well anything is an improvement over the last Lancers. I hear the new one looks nice, but materials need to be improved still.

In terms of interior material quality? (which is what the previous poster was comparing) I haven't sat in the New Subie or Evo but the Mazda3 has a very nice interior IMO.

The new Lancer's interior is okay. Dunno if they change it for the Evo or not. My only issue with the new Evo is it kind of looks like the designer ran out before he finished the front.

 

that blue is so sexy. the new X looks so much better than the pervious ones only thing I dont like much is the rear...to flat

 

Thanks for the great comments! The car's interior is not as "flashy" as the 8's interior but I like it! Everything is basic and placed in an easy location to reach while driving. Yes the base Lancer looks similar to the X but the front is wayyyy more aggressive in my opinion. I used to dislike the rear end but now it has grown on me, looks pretty mean to me !
The seats are heaven sent, GO SIT IN ONE RIGHT NOW! The thigh bolsters are so well placed I dont even budge when making a fast turn. Blue is extremely sexy too, the 08 model lancers did not come in the X's Octane blue too
Im probably going to the OC meet thats coming up so you guys can check it out.
I just hate the gearbox...stupid thing hates going slow...when I am shifting at or below 3k its notchy as hell, but once the speed picks up its butter smooth. It hates going slow.
