Is it just me or are there 2 exhaust ports per cylinder?

 

Yes there are. This is a 700hp DIESEL engine! I love diesels. The amazing part is that it makes all of that power with that small restrictor plate on each turbo.

 

imagine without the restrictor! technology has come a long way

 

I forgot to mention that those restrictors 39.9 mm. That's a 1.57" inlet to each turbo. That's a total of 3.8 square inches of inlet area which basically equals a single 2.25" inlet!!! Holy crap that's a lot of power for such a small intake. And you people are worried about which intake flows more for the RX-8!!! Wow. They are also running 28 psi of boost.

I wonder who gets to drive it first, and Peugeot is going to kick *** at Le Mans again this year.

Too bad we won't see Peugeot in ALMS. They are sticking to the European series. It will be at the 24 hours though.
