I was in the market for a smaller suv and looked at the Saturn, chevy equinox, sante fe, and ford escape. My wife mentioned the sorento and I was reluctant at first, it being a kia, but after reading all the reviews of the truck, which everyone seemed to rate very good, I went and looked at one.

More room then all the others, more options then all the others, better warrenty, and costs cheaper. I was very impresssed with this truck and later found out it's made by hyundai, who's quality has come way up in the last few years. Anyway, we bought the Kia. 2 years later, it has never seen the inside of the shop, other then oil changes. Nothing's broke, nothing rattling, nothing squeeling, not even a busted ****. This is an excellent choice for those looking at the less then large suv market, I would highly recommend it.

Thanks for the tip, I will definitely check it out.

its cheap and gets fairly good MPG, so i think it will sell pretty good.

Still has drum brakes in the back, even the sports suspension is soft and the car has a lot of float and horrible turn in, its definetly a sporty looking blvd. cruiser (like the SSR) not much of a sporty car. Only 2 engine options 2.2/2.4 L ecotech, it would be nice if you could get the supercharged motor from the cobalt SS in it.

All in all its a neat looking car, though not the best looking car ive seen, id give it a 6/7 out of 10. But it doesnt have anything THAT special about it, other than the fact it looks differnt.

I second that, I recently purchased and '05 Sorento for my wife and she loves it. I "tolerate" it, but that's simply because I prefer to be much, MUCH closer to the ground. It feels very solid and it has tons of room (I made good use of it when I moved last month). We got it for right around 15k back in June, had 8 miles on the odo, 5 of which we put on in the test drive. Overall, I have no complaints.

If it takes off in sales maybe they will offer an SS version if it too.

Drove the Equinox today. Very nice ride.

I agree...we almost got one for my wife before we got her 6. Now, she wants nothing to do with any other car (lol) as she tells me...."I want my 6"

Unfortunately my wife's beautiful Mazda 6 got crunched last week by a inattentive 16 year old girl when she decided not to yield on green in a turning lane and drove right into my driver side.
Wow...sorry to hear that, hope you both are OK.

What do I think of the HHR...it's OK, not for me but it's OK. It is a copy of the PT that's for sure and there are buyers out there for it but Chevy should have spent more money fixing the disaster that is the Monte Carlo instead of bringing another sub-par car out.

For the record...I think the Cobalt is pretty good (in SS form) and a big improvement from the ULTRA CHEAP Cavalier

The Impala (while being an insult to it’s heritage (freaken FWD)) is also a lot better car than what it replaces. I’ve noticed that Chevy’s quality has stepped it up a notch…while still a notch too low in the style department.

But, the Vette…is sweeeeeeettttt

The HHR is designed by the same lead on the PT Cruiser project. I don't think Chevy has ever denied that link. It's a better car than the PT.... and should be given how late to the game it is.
