ok, who's missing an Enzo?
Found this on the news...there's a video of whats left of the car. Not bad considering he was doing a buck 20 and went airborne and hit an electrical poll...

CBS) MALIBU, Calif. A speeding Ferrari whose driver may have been racing crashed Tuesday on Pacific Coast Highway in Malibu, prompting the closure of the roadway and an investigation to determine who was behind the wheel, officials said.
Paramedics sent to PCH at Decker Road about 6:15 a.m. treated one person at
at the scene for a minor injury, said Los Angeles County Fire Department
Inspector Ron Haralson.
That man, whose name was not immediately released, told authorities he was
the owner of the Ferrari Enzo, but claimed that he was the passenger and that
the driver ran off after the crash,.
He was tested and allegedly found to be over the legal limit of alcohol
consumption for driving in California.
The Ferrari's driver may have been racing with the driver of a Mercedes-Benz, in an event allegedly staged following a late-night party in Beverly Hills.
"The fact (is) that the `passenger' is the registered owner of the vehicle, from the Beverly Hills/Bel Air area; the `passenger' had blood on his mouth; and both airbags on the car deployed, but only the driver's side airbag had blood on it, not the passenger side," sheriff's Sgt. Philip Brooks said.
As of late this morning, there had been no arrests in the case, according
to the watch commander at the Malibu/Lost Hills Sheriff's Station.
The Ferrari Enzo, a limited-edition vehicle worth between $600,000 and $1
million, has a published top speed of 225 mph.
"We have the passenger, who told us the driver did flee from the scene,"
Brooks said. "And we ... followed some footprints up the side of the hill in
an effort to locate the driver."
Authorities believe the Ferrari "was traveling at least 100 mph and it
will probably be a lot more than that once we conclude our investigation,"
Brooks said.
The impact sheared the car in half, with the entire front section separated
from the rest of the vehicle.
"For a million dollars, you get a very good passenger-safety system, and
apparently in this case it did work," Brooks said.
Some electrical service was interrupted in the area after a power pole was
struck by the car. At least one lane of PCH remained closed late this morning
while crews worked to replace the damaged pole.

Good stuff huh... it's at www.cbs2.com if you want to see more video of it.
I bet the Ferrari Forum members right now are cheering this... The price of the collectible Enzo just went up yet again.

So another Enzo gets split in half. Guess it just adds more fuel to the "just because you are a Ferrari owner DOESN'T make you a Ferrari driver" argument.
I feel more sorry for the car than the stupid owner who was apparently the passenger, which we will later find out he was the driver and there was no Mercedes, he was just drunk and stupid. Also, if there was a second person, don't you think he would know the name of the guy so the police can track him down. I mean what kind of schmuck (ok this schmuck) would let someone he doesn't know drive his Enzo.
Maybe it is just me, but only on PCH in the Bel Air area would there be a story about a Ferrari racing a Mercedes, hope it was an SLR. I know the Vegas people are going to flame me for that, it could happen there OK, ... putting flame suit on now.

Perhaps she has been driving a Ferrari Enzo into a electrical poll and needed to cover up the marks from the airbag??
Turns out the schmuck that owns the Enzo is a Swedish "businessman"
Makes me ashamed!

Cheers, Niclas
well it obviously dosnt sound right and hes obviously lying, but this is america. And if hes rich enough and is willing to pay enough money. Then he stands a good chance to get away from it. Perhaps he might have said what hes lawyer told him to say.
Well someone made a good point on the Ferrari board, he said he was racing another car, most insurance policies will not pay if racing is involved when the vehicle is wrecked. There goes his insurance reimbursement.

Quite Suprise that him (or the driver?) was alive.
Just look at piece of "scrape metal" now. I mean if its a 8 .... I think we'll be dead if we even just crash at 100 MPH
I guess you get what you paid for :P
Ferrari = Super Fast/Quality/Cool/Expensive Machine !
