I see more Mazda 2 than anything really, but would you say the Mazda2 also took cues from the Merc? Not sure I'd go that far.

The grill somehow reminds me of a Mazda 3 and New Nissan Altima. I can't wait to see other pics later on though. Hopefully the back and sides will be just as stunning as the front so far. Any word on engines offered??

the new Ford corporate 3.5L 'Duratec' (with Mazda tuning) v6 is a definite, not sure if they're gonna long-stroke the 2.3L MZR to get more torque out of it, since this'll be a heavier car than the current gen 6.

The 6 is looking more graceful/flowing while the Mondeo looks technical/mechanical.

front end reminds me of a poor man's aston martin... which means it looks GOOD.

Ja, I've been waiting until that came out.

I think my Buick is on it's last piston at 143k. Too bad it's the worst engine design they ever made.

Otherwise I'd get 243k for sure.

Ohh twin turbo 6 for the MS6 would be the ****. Imagine something near 400hp, AWD and sexy looks, take that Evo and STI. Do it do it do it! This time give it adequate cooling ala FMIC and big enough tires with good rims and not 250 spokes!

I see a lot of CX-7 in it also (which I guess stems from the RX-8).

Don't like the gaping catfish mouth front fascia look. Reminds me of the Aston Martin catfish look!!

You must be talking about the 3.1L??? Because it definitely cannot be a 3.8L you are talking about (or at least a Series II 3.8L)

165,000 hard miles on my 3.8L and was running as good as new when I pulled it to turbo the car.

I like the angular front fenders but I'm not into the smirk!! Couldn't they have made it a little more aggressive looking in terms of facial appearance.

Yes, they're proximity sensors, I believe.
