Could Michael Schumacher's tragic accident have been caused by the camera affixed to his helmet? At least one report says so. - Autoweek
In other news, they have been slowly trying to bring him our of the coma. It's not known whether he will ever regain consciousness.

Cars are currently lapping Bahrain 7\8 seconds slower than last year's best qualifying time.
I think that the cars will be around 5 seconds slower on fast tracks. 15 seconds from what the good old v10 did.
Shame on f1, i'm watching LMP prototypes this year.

Autoweek Reports,
Recovery is unlikely for Michael Schumacher

There is a possibility that NO cars may reach the finish line at the Australian GP.

Earlier this week the idea was floated that there is a possibility none of the F1 cars could finish the Australian Grand Prix. If that happens, the race will be stopped. - Autoweek
Last year Lotus won the Australian Grand Prix. This season, there is concern as to whether or not the team's car will even make the starting grid. - Autoweek

Spa, Monza, Istanbul Park (Bring it back!), Nurburgring, Hockenheim, Suzuka as examples of good tracks.
Still unsold about COTA and I've been there in person the last two years.

Speed doesn't make a race. Competition makes a race. We had that this weekend. Three different teams on the podium. And, the Red Bull there wasn't Vettle. We had a rookie that could drive. I may have to start liking McLaren. I don't know what Kimi's problem was, but his rally experience didn't help him.

Watching it now (DVRed). So far it has been anything but boring.
Drivers are having to exercise their skills more than before, engineers are having to figure out weak points, reliability problems are real, passing is occuring, and someone different is up front. Hardly boring.
Interesting to see that facing challenges with new technology makes some people throw in the towel and write the whole thing off.
