Dunno, Hamilton kicks *** in small\city circuits (like last year's night race, monaco etc) so i think that he will do something good. Dunno about Vettel and company, for sure in this type of circuit the car counts a bit less.

I expect to see the Brawns come back with renewed purpose and do well this weekend. If not they're toast for the rest of the year.

Can't wait to see the races again... And yes, I even admit that Hamilton is good in this type of venues... but laugh all you want...I'll be laughing at the end when Alonso beats the heck out of Hamilton in A Ferrari!! very very soon...and having the 2 best setup pilots in F1 at Ferrari(Schumacher and Alonso) will only help the humiliation all the other teams will experience...

I want Brawn back in the game... and even win some races to deserve the Championship!

Indeed... can't wait!!!

Nah. All the guys at Brawn were WFH while the shop was locked up so now they have like uber fast cars and will have all new body work for the next race.

The shops may have been closed, but they were all working remotely on aerodynamic simulations. This past week the machinists were creating the new parts.

JUST IN, FRESH OFF THE PRESS FLOOR

http://www.worldcarfans.com/10908182...y-text-message

Franz Tost has categorically denied Sebastien Bourdais' claim that the 30-year-old was fired recently via the medium of mobile phone text message.

Frenchman Bourdais, 30, last week accused his former employers Toro Rosso and Red Bull of lacking "style" by not facing him as they broke the news about his ousting in favour of Spanish teen Jaime Alguersuari.

"I told Monsieur Bourdais personally that he is not going to drive any more and did not write any SMS," Toro Rosso team boss Tost told Germany's Sport Bild.

He added of Bourdais: "I can understand that he is disappointed, but his performances were simply not what we expected.

"We wanted an increase in speed from him in his second year and it did not happen," said Tost. "On the contrary: our youngster Sebastien Buemi, in his first season, was better than him."

Even if we dont believe in tost. bordai driving skills cant convince me that he was a exceptional driver, in fact it did the opposite.

but man this week for F1 has been rather boring. cant wait till the race this weeekend.

.....awww man, NO DOUBT that was really up!!! And i'm not even a S. Speed fan, but damn. And is it me, or does it seem like teams don't mind sacking a driver mid season nowadays.

Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!! Damn And I dunno about the 2 Red Bull teams, i'm sure this may be a stretch, but when you have an A team and B team, couldn't the B team kinda be the testing bench for the A team. And really, Newey designed both cars didn't he...why would one be so much better than the other? I realize the RB is using a pull rod setup, but despite that, they are miles ahead of STR. Further, with the way the regs are in testing, etc...it's like Red Bull has a full time test team called STR. I'm sure the likes of Ferrari and McLaren have though about this situation and would have raised holy hell if they found out Red Bull was doing that, but i guess we'll never know

F1's governing body on Wednesday revealed that changes to the Valencia street circuit have been made ahead of this weekend's second European grand prix in the Spanish port city.

The FIA said the pit exit has been "reworked to bring it to the same level as the track" while the wall separating the two has been removed.

Walls at the apexes of turns 3, 9, 10 and 14 have been moved back, the wall at the exit of turn 5 moved back by three metres, and openings at the apexes of turns 7 and 11 closed and relocated.

Additionally, artificial grass has been installed behind the kerbs on the exit of turns 10 and 14, and the inner pit lane sealed with a high-grip resin.
