More information on Mazda's Los Angeles Auto Show vehicle debuts as well as updates on its global business plans will be announced during a press conference on Thursday, November 29. The presentation will begin at 9:30 AM PST and will be held at the Mazda display booth located in the Los Angeles Convention Center's South Hall.

400hp 450tq from the stock block. That's handy. And as expected, in the 6 'body'. I'm sure it will be a tube frame chassis of course.

Announced: Mazda 6 will be the car racing in GX. The diesel engine will have 400 hp with 450 ft pounds of torque.

The feed is getting humorous. "No rehearsals" huh? Doesn't work if you are broadcasting the rehearsals over and over. Unless that's on a loop somehow.

Weird. Those guys got a Speedsource RX8 and never bothered to field it. Good for them if they do get it on a track but I'll believe it when I see it.

Speedsource running 2 of them. And the official Mazda artist rendition is pretty damn awesome. Only way a Mazda6 looks better would be if they'd used the wagon.

And if Speedsource markets the tuning on that diesel I'm definitely going to get myself a diesel 6 whenever my PoC Sonata commuter bites it. Be better getting a diesel 6 wagon with 400hp/450bhp but beggers/choosers.
