66 sounds like transmission/gear issues, should move the 40 into 3rd.

Damn, that was a cold ride. 35 degrees and windy will wake you up.

Now back to the race. Happy to see #40 in podium position!

Come on porsche, we need more failure. Announcers, can we get an interview with the #67 crew?

As agressive as some of them are driving, I wouldn't be surprised if it happened.

No speed Chanel but been on Grand-Am all morning. Glad to see the #40 doing well. Just not enough time unless the #67 breaks. I just hope Lally does'n start trying to push people out of his way like usual.

Actually, all of the 8 problems have been getting hit by other people haven't they? Im not aware of a single mechanical failure for them this race?

Avoiding a spinning car, and would have gotten by fine, except one of the camero's coming around the outside didn't give enough room, pinned it down and slammed into the right front wheel/suspension as the same time the left front clipped the rear of the spinning car.

They went down 100+ laps repairing it, got it back out, but apparently it wasn't fixed good enough or something unrepairable, and they had to retire it.

Sigh. My favorite car.

For some relatively obvious reasons

The 36 was retired with alot of front end damage as well, I never saw footage of the collision, so can't assign fault.

Not sure why the 43 is retired, but I think it was damage related.

69 mentioned above, was wrecked.

Not sure if the 30 is still in it, or retired. I know they had a spin earlier, and some additional issues, but I don't recall any of them being mechanical.
Shredded tires caused problems for quite a few cars on a regular basis, lots of body parts laying around the track.

Thanks RIWWP,
I got a chance to see all the speedsource cars up close and personal at Sevenstock and the #69 at the LA Auto Show. Awesome, cant wait for Grand-Am to return this July at Laguna Seca.

Yeah, same. Saw them first last May at Lime Rock, then again at SS, and will at Lime Rock again this year. Want to get to at least 1 more race other than that though, either NJ, VIR, Mid Ohio, or Watkins Glen. More than 1 other would be nice too
