After an hour plus in the pits the 69 returned action. In 2010 the team had a bad start at Daytona and still won the championship.

While others struggle, and midnight passes, Dempsey Racing is now running SECOND and FIFTH.






Dempsey Racing plotting pit strategy. There is still a LONG way to go, but the team is running strong.

The Racers Edge RX-8 lost 30 laps to repair crash damage. The car is on track and back up to speed.

lost my local TV broadcast
I got scared when I saw that the 70 was not running.
good news that there are back on track but they have alot to make up.

good luck to Dempsey Racing both cars running top 5.
#63 still running 8>)

any other places where I can get updated news on the race?

The 42 car is in the garage. There was smoke in the cockpit. The crew is looking for the source.

The #69 car is officially retired -- suspension damage from the previous contact. The #36 car suffered a similar fate.

yeah, Sadly Speed has to cover everything nascar. I'm sure once coverage returns, they'll spend 5 of the last 6 hours talking about the Gainsco Car and all the other cars with Nascar drivers and not actually show much of the race.
