for those that havent seeing this races, they rae the most exciting race series on tv right now, most races are decided by fractions of a second and are long duration races

there are some differences between the #69 and #70 cars (at least the pictures make it seem that way) so I'd imagine the cars are not completely identical, just -very- similar~

yes, you are right, the 69 is an evolution of the 70, it is lightter and better balance, we should asume that some changes where made to the 40, this cars are never exactly the same.

this is a long race and to end it this early is very sad... they do have a chance of winning it. man..... devastating.

SS has a few months to build a entirely new car i guess, with lower weight and better balance....... but man this is SAD!

That DP driver needs to be thrown out of the series...absolute stupidity...he could have KILLED Nick Ham.

Still, congrats to Speedsource...its been a great year...too bad that some jackass DP driver had to end the season this way.

 

They said that driver has been told to go see the big man (forget his name) and the announcers said that he is gonna get a stern talking to. I sure hope so, I'd imagine that these guys have spotters to help them out and whatnot, what with the amount of dust covering the guys windows you'd think he'd want some help to make sure something like this wouldnt happen. Rookie mistake and its shown in spades.

 

on the other hand, the #40 is doing quite well at 5th place. their first ever race in the brand new RX-8.

Thank god Nick is ok, that crash was one of the worst I've ever scene in this series. That other driving is ******* idiot. Can Nick jump in the #69 car and run?

I touched that car a year ago at Sevenstock, this makes me want to cry.

 

same, i just got home from mowing the mother in law yawn. got home just in time to see the first lap. Then next thing i see Nick is flying in the air. glad he is doing ok. nick and his co pilot are awesome drivers. hate to see him out of the race in the first lap

 

can they even keep anything from that car after a crash like this?! It was travelling down fast(100mph?) the straight and hit the almost stationary DP...
