OBDII Question
Hi,
I need to design an OBDII tool for a project I am working on at work. I need to be able to read vehicle speed, engine RPM and some other basic information from ANY vehicle and OBDII seems to be the best answer. All of my internet searches so far only turn up sites that explain how to read the codes once the tool is plugged in. I am looking for a link that describes exactly what is coming out of the 16 pin connector under the dash. Any recommendations would be helpful including books to buy. I figured that somebody on this site might have already gone down this path.
