nsx
This should probably be in the General Automotive section,
but what the heck, I will bite.
The NSX is a cool car. Its a true Japanesse supercar (the only other one that I can think of is the FD RX-7).

i love the nsx and the way it looks! I drove my friends and imho it's really underrated car its reminds me of the 8 (besides the investment side of it), its not the fastest straightline exotic car and the numbers don't do it justice. But its handling is superb and it drives like a dream and looks beautiful. You really have to see one in real life to truly appreciate it, especially with some rims... ahh just getting excited thinking about it. I would have one in my garage anyday.
I'm not so sure about this one.The car looks beautiful, rides nice, engine sounds CRAZZZZY.But i think its veryyy overpriced, small, and doesnt compete well against other exotic cars....For the price....I rather have a Z06 and with the extra money, put some major work into the engine :D now that would be a beast.
only reason why its hated cuz no one can afford it. and the ppl taht can are old adn they rahter spend xtra for the SL500. i grauntee if yu owned one yu'd love it more than yu love yur wife. it handles soooo well yu wont believe
NSX owns almost all cars.

I had 95 NSX-T and was nice ride. But I was always worrying about dips in road and in and out of driveways with low stance and low front spoiler. Also some people treated you badly on the freeway probably due to "***** envy". The RX-8 is great because people do not give you much thought which suites me fine.

A wonderful used purchase if you can find one with a full service history. They lose value much faster than other exotics, and good used examples are approaching the $25,000 mark, which makes them a fascinating alternative to a new car.
The Type R is awesome, but we don't get it.

The NSX is a great buy used if you can find one with good service records. Its very reliable and easy to drive. I wouldn't use it as a daily driver though because its still a pretty stiff ride.
In terms of depreciation, the Lotus Esprit V8 depreciates slightly faster than the NSX. A low mileage 99-00 Esprit V8 TT sells in the mid 40s.
The Maserati GT depreciates faster than all of them. In two years, that car drops like 30k+. A 2002 GT sells in the low 60s.

I too, love the NSX. I always don't understand people who complain about prices. Its like saying everyone should buy a Z06 instead of a Ferrari 360. The NSX is still a great car in my eyes.

And IMO I'd rather have the Z06 before the NSX...but both after the Ferrari
I would love an NSX. I would take one over a Z06 in a heart beat. I know its more expensive but the waaaay better looks and mid engine would have me sold. Of couse I would take the ferrari first.
If I got one, the Comptech treatment would likely be given, although not in yellow

I was going to get the NSX (before I wound up getting the RX8) on a special lease program for $799/mos. for 36 mos. and $999 down. That was a phenomenal deal. But I wound up getting screwed by my Acura dealer. With those terms that would actually be cheaper than leasing an M3, SLK AMG, or an nicely loaded S4. At the $50K mark (about the approximate cost of a car with that kind of lease payment) the NSX made tremendous sense. At $90K (or even $75K with dealer discounts) it does not.
