We all know i own a Miata. But i swear to my lord in heaven. One day my Miata will be a Coupe with a Renesis Motor in it...

Really really nice wheels, back moonwindow thing is kinda neat... but can say wo doubt that the lines of any 8 is way way sexier than any Miata could ever dream of being

there have been a few that have said they were doing that swap. not sure if it ever happened or not. honestly though the miata is just too small and feminine for my likes.

I traded my 99 miata in on the 8. I loved that car, in that it handled like a big go-cart. my wife loved the fact it was a convertible. But we both came to realize that a 2 seater wasn't practical for having a family, and the 8 was a happy compromise. Don't get me wrong, I love my 8, but sometimes miss the miata (especially on the first nice day of spring when I'd pop the top down). But don't knock the car unless you've driven one.
As to it being a girly car, I've seen a lot of women driving RX8's but does that mean it's a girly car? i think not. I don't remember getting carded whether I could buy either my Miata or 8.
