Nice Piece on Japanese Classics

Japanese cars finally get "heritage" according to Jay Leno. Featuring the Cosmo.

I'd love to get my hands on a Toyota 2000GT. I know they're quite expensive already, but give it a couple decades and I bet that car is fetching some obscene amounts at auction.

Very few were made. Only 351 according to this Wiki. I remember when they came out. Widely reviewed by every car mag, but really a "halo" car never meant for large scale production. Most famously used in "You Only Live Twice."

There were 61 brought into the US and it's believed the 40 of them still exist. Some day in the not too distant future we're going to see one approach 1 mil at auction. Probably as soon as one of the Shelby owned cars goes to auction...
