Say Motor Authority. They say the heard it from Autoweek Netherlands which has it from an unamed Toyota source.... i think

read it for yourself here

http://www.motorauthority.com/report...ion-in-us.html

Mazda really needs to build the Kabura. Everone should email MNAO and tell them to get that style of car built and built now. Rear wheel drive 3 2 door coupe

TC going RWD?! ahhhh crap, there's already too many of those TC owners around here who always think their car is SUPER fast and feel the need to rev their little 4 cylinders at me.

This is 'no bueno'.

+1 on Kabura!!!!

Something worth waiting--and hoping for:
1. Small car
2. RWD
3. Light weight (hoping, hoping)
4. Ample power
5. Low starting price, even if a few thousand more than the teaser price
6. Japanese designed and made.

Wonder what mileage will be like?

I'm guessing we're getting the Toyobaru RWD sports car as a Scion then. Probably a good marketing choice for Toyota.

sure thats not a legacy ?

Toyota has been talking about some 200~ hp sports car for some time. I read it on some magazine about a year ago. its just that right now I think Toyota is focusing to stay in profit more than anything else.

The white car was a test mule that was photographed a while a go. It has parts of a Legacy bolted on and in no way represents what the new car will look like. This is common for all car manufacturers in early testing. Here's a few of the guess's on looks that are floating around:

I haven't gotten an employee Toyota magazine announcing it so don't get too excited of something from word of mouth.....We get them like every month that has details of new products.

NES NEWS NEWS

The code name for this Project is 086a Looks like the delay we've heard about is so they have time to ready Toyotas new Direct Injection system for Prime Time in the flat four.

http://www.7tune.com/toyotasubaru-co...car-code-086a/

Here is a new speculative rendering as well
