i find that the last thing rotary owners talk about is push rods...lol :p
but, indeed kinda suprising....part of the think i love about the factory high-performance corvette, very understated...with a few subtle outside changes...so at a glance, to most people...it appears to be a 'normal 400hp' car....then it lets out a wail from that 515hp 427 and its gone

So who wants to donate 70k to the Aoshi wants a corvette fund. It's for a good cause!

It's impressive that GM turned this car out for under $80K. But what kills me is that the Magazines want to hype it so badly by bragging that it can outrun other cars twice the price.
Well, people don't buy the cars that the Z06 can outrun for the performance alone.
They buy them for prestige. In the end it's still a Corvette. Not a Pagani Zonda, Not an Enzo, Not a Carrera GT, and Not a Ford GT.
It's comparable to how they hyped up the SRT-4 and compared it to cars twice the price.
Yes it is faster than an RX-8, but it's a Neon.
If you are looking for a BARGAIN, then yeah this Z06 is the car for you. If you are looking for prestige then stay away.

yeah even if the blue devil/Super Sport will become the "king of the ring" and edge out the Porsche Carrera GT, its still a corvette. and more than that, its still american made.

I don't think you will find one for 65k. Dealers will order in the optioned models. Plus, initially some retards with more money than brains will pay a premium for them. I'm sure the intial dealer alotments will go for north of 80k.
