I saw this auction about a month ago, suspicious....

 

First thing that came to my mind as well. I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to ealier rotaries (a whole new world for me which I'm having a great time learning about!), but for ANY car that situation is a bit odd. Again my ignorance of the history of rotaries speaking, but that car really stickered at $40,976? Ahhhh cannot wait for my RX-8 coffee table book to arrive

 

Well, the guy wants much higher.. because it's also from a dealership, they will want more money. Perhaps in the 33k-35k range. A 1995 FD with very little milage in the US... dang. That's hardcore.

 

He does, ebay doesn't. They don't have a rotary option. So, you either pick a V something or don't know.

 

Do you get the original factory warranty starting at the date of delivery?

 

well considering they sold the RX-7 in japan until very recently the car really isn't that special...ad to the fact this is an Automatic

this thing is not worth it and I doubt anyone will meet the Reserve price

 

Can someone shed a little light on the specs of this engine? Does it have the same 250hp as the manual?

I've driven an automatic FD.. I would say that all the power is there.
