It's similar to a CAI, but it draws in much cooler air this way. It's obviously complex, but the video does a decent job of explaining it all. It might be a bit pricey for most of us, but someone with enough money and know-how should have one custom fabricated for their 8.

you think it's cheap to engineer something so advanced? Just working out the original drawings and test fittings had to have taken 30 minutes, at least. If it was that easy, car companies would have been doing it long before.
