doesnt the renesis weigh more? i also dont think there are any tranies that can mount a rotary transversly. also the position of the motor would kill the "lower center of gravity" benefit of owning a rotary (thats the biggest reason i wanted a rotary to beggin with).

id stick to a built NA K20 elise or just an FI elise.

now if someone would make an all aluminum renesis (minus the e shaft)... my wishlist would look a lil different.

Ah, perhaps, but it will be a Wankel s2000 instead of the humdrum 4-banger it has in it. Anyway, I thought our car was faster. I've spanked two of them off the line (when I was stock) cause THEY wanted to race.

yea but it still weighed as much as a small car and had 4wheels/tires. put it in a only slightly oversided bike and make the total package ~1000lbs sans rider.

For an exercise in silliness, how about a 2000+ Saturn SC?

the only problem with that is getting a FWD transaxle to mate or makig the car handle a RWD setup. But its no more fanciful than my harley idea.

K Lets here it.
Many years back in Raleigh NC there was a Lotus Europa running around with a 13B in it. In the first week of driving it the exhaust burned a serious hole into part of the underside that took the owner about a year to fix. The repairs were done an he had been driving it as a daily driver for 3-4 years when I first saw it. If I recall the motor came out of a second gen low mileage wreck and had headers, custom pipe, and a 48 IDA Weber carb.

It also had a working air conditioner.

Car was black with gold accents.

It's very close to the imaginary world where attractive women will date a guy who drives a ricey-looking econobox with a shopping cart handle wing on the back.

I want to put a supercharged renesis in an Ariel Atom. That'd be fast as hell.

People rather swap the 13b or 13bt in the SA/FB (gen1 rx7).... and people would rather keep the inline 4 in the miata.
