New Daily Driver

I love driving my RX-8 everyday , but gas was becoming a issue. So I retired her from daily use and got this instead.

1995 Acura Integra Ls 5 speed with a JDM B18C motor

Now I will get to enjoy my RX-8 on the weekends and keep the wear and tear down as well.

Got a great deal on her, brought her from a older gentleman who had to many Honda and Acura projects going on in his backyard and had to regrettably sell because of hard times. Got the car for 2600, has full power windows and locks, new brakes and rotors. Have to fix a few things but nothing to terrible.Interior is in great condition for a 13 year old car.186k on chassis, 20k on the motor. It has Option 9.3mm wires,a DC long tube CAI, DC Headers, and a magnaflow cat-back which doesn't sound ricey or raspy, it has a nice deep sound to it.

Got loweing springs and I am going to lower the front end next week to make the car level.

Other than that , loving the gas mileage! Instead of filling up 4 times a week, I only fill up once, been averaging 32mpg instead of 19-21 with the 8.

Great car - easily one of the best handling FWD cars out there. Those things feel so light and precise. The JDM B18C motor is a major plus, too. Previous old-guy owner means its probably not ragged out.

Your dead on... the guy was very nice , very knowledgeable about Honda/Acura cars. And he liked to take care of his cars, which is major kudos in my book. I was amazed how well the Integra handles, its no RX-8 , but for a FWD car, I was very impressed.

Before this car, I looked at 7 other Honda and Acura vehicles and they were trashed out , or ragged on really hard by owners who just didn't care about maitnance or up keep on a vehicle. One Prelude I looked at, I literally came close to throwing up because as soon as I open the door , a wave of funk hit me that almost knocked me down to my knees, i kindly declined to test drive the car, although upon furthr inspection there was dirty gym clothes, rotten food, and other refuse i couldn't make out in the cabin , it was disgusting....

What you need now is a "Powered by Honda" windshield banner and various VTEC stickers to adorn doors and you're set.

Thanks.... I think the guy was trying to go for a Integra Type R theme that is why he put those 7-spoke rims on it. I noticed the calipers at one time were painted red.

As far stickers , no thanks....

Car already has a DC CAI ,DC headers, and cat back Magnaflow exhaust(exhaust sounds deep for a 4 banger). She skoots alright for what she has in it. I am just glad she gets good gas mileage with those mods, I will probally finish her off with that skunk2 Intake manifold...there so cheap, only 200 bucks.

Cracked her open to check out the timing belt took off the valve cover and the motor is clean! The guy was telling the truth about his rebuild. If there was no oil in the engine you could eat off of it. I was impressed....
