rx-8 upkeep isn't much more then most cars. just more frequent oil top offs / changes depending on how you drive. and the time between wear on ur plugs & coils is a lot less then some cars. besides that your tires & brakes will wear no differently lol. honestly if I can afford an rx8 anyone can (just takes budgeting and financial responsibility).

Well I went to the dealer test drove the 8. It is one of the most comfortble smooth rides ive been/drove in. only reason im npot in the car now is they wanted 1500 down and i dont have that. Had to get the contour alternator replaced, amoung the gas it takes to go to and from school and work everyday. so Ill see what this check looks like and see if another dealer can give me a better offer but by all means if i had the 1500 i would have got that car.

 

if those are your only options then i also say rx8.

but PLEASE do your research before anything!!!!

we dont want you to be another person who ends up hating the Rx8 for not having enough power or not the best mpg's.

Yeah out of all of these I researched the 8 the most. Its just a money issue right now also went to Carmax today they had a 07 rx-8 for 19,000 but he wanted 4400 down so i may just save up and go to mazda if they are only asking 1500 i have 1/3 of that now.

also If i cant get the 8 as soon as I would like im looking at the mazda 6

For some reason first thing to came to mind was it sounding alike to kicking all cars in the nutz, but since its FWD it kicks itself in the nutz. Ahh, that made my day.

 

Well we are going into week 3 or 4 and still no car. called the dealer he says the car hasn't come back from inspection yet and our paperwork hasn't been processed yet. Paperwork just to see if we can get approved. hopefully he will call me this week with some kind of news preferably good news.

Yea i;m beginning to suspect that. I called i think thursday granted that I went up there the week before to find out it hadn't been inspected. He also told me people everywhere were asking about the car. and that he can't hold it but we put $500 in his face and changed his mind. but it was after 6 and no banks were open so he took down our information and said he would call when he heard back from the company. a week later i'm calling him car hasn't been sold, nor returned from inspection at least thats what he told me. Hard to believe that story. either he is holding it for himself or someone else.
