need help........

hey guys, i am buying q bike from a seller in another state. he wants to use this 3rd party company called BuySafe ( www.buysafe.com ) he wants me to wire the money to buysafe, then when i get the bike, buysafe will send the money to the seller. only if i like the bike. they want me to wire them the money via Western Union. i know thers alot of scams online. most of them use Western Union. i was wondering if i should go through with this deal by using this company?

Would you be willing to pick up the bike in person? I don't think that I'd buy anything with a big price tag without looking at it in person. Would kinda suck if the bike was in NY and you're in California.

Sorry but ... I'd be careful. Kinda weird having the guy WANTING to use buysafe. I could see a customer wanting to use it, but not vice versa.

tell the guy to set up a free Paypal account and send him the money that way. I would never use a site like that, especially when I see the words "wire money" to people.

Propose using an e-escrow company of your choosing instead.

www.escrow.com has a reputation for being legit. There are a bunch of fraudulent escrow sites out there. Read the articles below for a couple of (mostly common sense) tips for using escrow services.
