Im not sure what's the cause but every so often the lower front of my car starts making the sound like a rock is being spit around. Its like throwing a rock into a fan type sound. I hear it right by the radiator. Any ideas? Im going to flush the radiator and refill it (maybe its a bit low and is spitting when it boils). Car has 20k on it

I found the problem. It was such a odd thing too. I knew it was nothing internal cause it was on and off. I checked all cosmetic things, brackets, nuts, fender walls, and everything was secure. It ended up being a small cable that was attatched to both the positive and negative terminals on the battery from the previous owner. He had it rigged for his batery charger and the plug for the cable wasnt covered. So in turn, the bare metal was hitting the engine bay and/or other metal objects which were then becoming the new ground. yikes! Long story short, car's back to running perfect
