My "new" cars
Well, It's been a very long time since I have been on here, I sold the Rx8 over a year ago in favor of a "new" Xterra. My reason was simple, I ditched working full time for going back to school full time, and the Rx8 was a expensive car to keep running. But I still love the car. I also have a 05 mustang GT. That is the wife's car, yet I drive it more than she does. With the things done it it, it is a very different animal. Yet I still find myself missing the Rx8. Anyways, I posted to assure you all, that no matter what, the Rotary will always hold a special place in anyones heart, and also to post a few pictures of whats in the garage now. I may have posted a few of these on here before, but oh well. So here they go

You posted at night on the weekend... it's usually pretty slow here on friday, saturday and sunday nights.
Nice cars. I can't say that off road stuff has ever really caught my interest but I understand people have different tastes and get why people can enjoy it. The mustang seems like more fun to me... is it manual or automatic? Seems like it could be a fun project car, though it sounds like you use it more for daily driving/the wife so I'm guessing you're not looking to go too crazy with it.

^ Why Monchie? I don't see any reason to not respond to / comment on his thread. He owned an RX8 once, and like he claims, he still loves it - and misses it. Just because he doesn't own one now doesn't mean he didn't at one time (And obviously still does) have a high appreciation for the car and this community.
ANYWAYS - I like the offroading pictures! I live on a farm, so going mudding and what not with vehicles is in my blood. Too bad you had to sell the 8 - Maybe consider another once your rich? Lol good luck man with your schooling!

Haha yeah well I went with a 4x4 vehicle because I had never had one before, and knew if I bought a performance car it wouldn't measure up to the rx8, so went the exact opposite way. And the mustang is used for somewhat daily, it's a 5 speed with a tune, intake, short shifter, and straight pipes. Actually there are some pretty big plans for that thing. Going to get a stroker short block and drop it in, afterward we'll throw a supercharger on it. But right now I'm planning on spending a lot of cash to improve it's handling. And thanks guys, I guess It didn't even strike me that it was the weekend haha.

Nice rides man. Looks like you have quite a bit of fun in the Xterra. Although, your wife is by far the hottest thing in those pics.
Keep up the good work and don't be shy. You're always welcome here.

And yeah I found out something about the older Xterra's after I bought the new one that made me pretty damn happy, the SC'd older ones have less power than the current ones, all of which are N/A. And I dont consider it to be a very powerful vehicle, so how they ever sold a older version is beyond me.

Yeah the older SC'd ones weren't bad, but the NA ones were a complete and utter dogs. I think they were popular with people who just wanted the rugged SUV look and previously owned a CRV

Great pictures, The location with the old-school gas pump is great!
Mustang's a nice ride. keep it looking "Sleeper"
Love the Xterra, & Damn that last pic going into the mud lake must have taken some serious b@lls!... and yes, she is pretty cute too.
Sorry to hear you had to lt the 8 go, glad you are still feeding the motorhead passion.

I think the previous gen Mustangs look better than the newer ones. They look more like their classic brethren. I think the Coyote motor is badass though.
Nice rides. I like the off roading photos.
