Dude. You will get beat by the STi unless you are a rediculously good driver and the STi guy is HORRRRRIBLE. They have just about as much potential as the RX-7. Read up at www.Nasioc.com

OK...back to talking about RX-8s in the "RX-8 Discussion"

I don't see what the big deal is here. I've seen plenty of people post about other cars talking smack about the 8. Most of the time no one cares, but no one flames the living tar out of the person.

There is nothing rx7sign actually said that should offend anyone. There was no indication of street racing.

The only difference I see here is he is talking about an rx7 on the rx8 discussion board.

Just as much potential...except how the STi's AWD kills its power above 90mph.

WHP is WHP. It doesn't matter if it's FWD, RWD, or AWD, cars that weigh about the same and have about the same HP are going to be pretty equal depending a little on gearing and aerodynamics. The difference is the AWD car is a hell of a lot more fun from a dig.

why everybody hating on him, he cant post a rx8 thread with a Sti cause the rx8 cannot even touch that car. the most you can squeeze out the 8 is close to 500 whp and thats spending a lot of cash. the 7 can do even more than 700 whp, no matter how you look at it is still a rotary engine, the Rx8 is just crippled cause of glorious US stoopid emisions and regulations.

Plain and simple, this is an RX-8 forum, not an RX-7 forum, and CERTAINLY not an STI forum, therefore his post had no reason to exist on this site under a forum branch called "RX8 General Discussion"

Think of the scene in Deliverance when the city folk first encounter the hillbillies... "Do you know where youre at BOY?" (Dualing Banjos background music)
