(my) 2007 Mazda Millenia

I rushed because I had one day to scan it, lacks details but here you go:

Time to revive the Millenia, lets go, someone tell Mazda!

Based on the Mazda 6, something that Mazda would do. Prespective right out of the Mazdaspeed 6 sketch. Back from scratch.

the millenia would be cool if it returned and i bet they could get some badass power out of a miller cycle engine today.

That's nice- maybe could replace the Miller cycle engine with a 3 rotor engine, something like the Cosmo.

I'm not feeling the all-seasons and the calipers aren't painted.

since we are talking about what we want I really like it to be rear wheel drive, that way we can have a rotary variant( or we can make it).

DonVito,

They already are. Cept its just a larger Mazda6 platform, and its still called the 6...but it will be millenia sized or larger in 07/08. It'll also weigh more, and have a good deal more power.

Hopefully so--cause for a front driver I enjoy my Millenia S. This is actually my 2nd and I'm about to sell it--Mazda really dropped the ball on its marketing; and its expensive to work on at least the S is.

Ha zoom44. Well who knows what the new 6 will look like. I'm sure they'll tweak the design again...hopefully not making it more bland.

Don Vito that is AWESOME!!!!
I currently have a Mazda Millenia S in addition to the 8 and with the Miller Cycle Engine it is a great car. My thoughts in an upgrade:

-PUT SOME DAMN CUP HOLDERS IN MAZDA, SHEESH THERE IS ONLY ONE IT IT ONLY FITS CANS AND BREAKS ON A NEW CAR AFTER 6 MONTHS!
-Lower the weight of the vehicle...with modern tech I know u can bring the weight down (aluminum pieces ala RX-8 would be nice)
-REAR WHEEL DRIVE
-Optional 6speed transmission...the auto currently in mine is subpar
-all the hightech luxury amenities (u know...Xenon/autoheadlights/Navigation/etc/etc.)
-spice up the interior and the color schemes
-put some nice rims on there (although the current chromed once were sweet for their time)
-Rotary powered...yes this one is a far off dream since the gas mileage would be so bad no one would buy this car...but we can dream can't we :D

thanks for the drawing Don...I say we petition mazda to look into using your concept!

The 06's will have most of that sans the rotary and rear wheel drive..

4 front cup holders
6 speed auto
Xenon/autoheadlights/Navigation
Changed interior
Different wheels
Three new colors
Auto/keyless start and power windows up/down on the remote

The body on the 06's is basically the same. It does have all new cladding and taillights.

The audio section is separate from the climate control..a change from the large center panel set-up.

Thanks a lot Truemagellen! My family owns a Millenia too, that's why I love it.

Starting a petition would be a good idea, my design can be recomended but I don't know about basing it on my design.

My head is full of ideas, I will work hard to come up with a very very impressive interior for the Millenia.

No! Death to the 6! (until the Millenia returns), we want the return of the Millenia!

The 06 is just a minor refit...most of the changes aren't changes at all, they are just trying to "normalize" the US spec 6 with the rest of the world to save costs. If anything, all the changes are allowing mazda to "save" money...as they won't need to have two different parts for a good chunk of new items.

The real refit occurs in 07/08, with a change of powerplants, and a change in exterior and interior dimensions.

There won't ever be a RWD Mazda6, as the chassis isn't designed for it. Its a FWD/AWD chassis with a setup for a transverse mounted engine/drivetrain. There is a big rumor that the new 6's might have an AWD option (07/08) but thats just a big fat internet rumor.

They will however be larger (think maxima/millenia sized), with more power (look at the other mid/full size sedans for estimates).

I have a good feeling the new Millenia would have AWD based on the fact the MS6 does...the could take the MS6's AWD platform, stick a MillerCycle Engine in and have a nice Millenia :D but MillerCycle is probably no more as having unique engines in the market is costly (MillerCycle AND Rotaries...WOW...you have to admit Mazdas got some big ***** :D).
