Mazda does take some chances--even the Miata was a big gamble.

 

There isn't going to be a new millenia. The new millenia IS the mazda6. The mazda6 is being transformed into a millenia...but will still be called the 6.

They are bumping up the size of the 6 to fill a gap in their product lineup. They feel the 6 and 3 are overlaping too much, so they are upsizing the 6. There will be no car in the middle...just the 3 (compact/mid-size) and the 6 (mid/full size).

 

But somebody can have a 'new to you' Millenia as mine is for sale :p
