I've got some mixed feelings on this picture from the 2013 Wilmington SOLO Nationals gallery:

Pro's - it's an FD, its on proper tires, it's SSM prep'd, it's at nationals so I assume the driver knows what he/she is doing

Cons - it's pink, it has an insane rear wing


My mind has officially been blown.

 

to be fair, my dad who is colorblind would think that it is battleship grey and therefore, pretty badass

I'm moderately color deficient (the proper term for colorblindness) and I can tell it's pink.
Your going to need the wing if your running in mod class.

 

Yeah, that is true and he's got a proper splitter up front to match if you look closely. Just from that angel, that wing doesn't look flattering to the FD's organic curves.

But ya, this is competition at the national level, so function trumps form.

 

I think the function adds to the form. So I think it is absolutely beautiful.

Well, clearly the car, pink or otherwise, is working for him as he took 1st in the 2013 Pro Solo finale. Congrats to him.
