Not to sure if it was posted but who cares. Looks badass! I would consider this car if it ever made it to production. Pretty much an evo in disguise but it has one thing the evo doesn't, looks...

I doesn't look too bad. But as much as it weighs right now, with AWD in production form I bet that thing would be as much as a Mustang or GTO.

Well, I don't like how they look that much either. I kinda think the new eclipses look like cougars. Although a 400hp 4g63t does make the car look a lot more apealing! It would be just like the old days...how nostalgaic...

would be a nice new replacement for the 3000GT....though personally, I think they should just bring back something along the lines of the 3000GT period. But that's just me.

Not too bad...It still reminds me of the Cougar like stated above but it is an improvement...
I kind of like the intergrated exhaust pipes...still not thrilled with the front end...I think it is the headlights, they lack the "edge".

if it only cost 30k then it would be a heck of a deal. that much hp, and imported? im expecting it to cost more than the base vette or at least along that line. I like it though, but not as much as the EVO due to the weight.

That car looks mean as hell...just change out the exhaust tips and maybe the wheel color.
If only Mitsu would actually release something close to it for production...
PS: With 400 HP and awd, weight is not that much of concern...

Looks mean as hell from the front.
The more I look at it though, the less I like it:
-Dont' care for the side window lines
-Back end still looks 'chubby'
-Those exhaust tips gotta go asap!
BUT if all you're looking for is *****-out speed and power (out of a small import) this might be the way to go. Too bad it'll never make production.
/sheds tear for 3000gt.

Who would want to buy a mitsubishi eclipse that cost more than a vette? uh no, I'll take the vette.

They removed that little piece behind the Mitsubishi badge and it did wonders for the front end. The car on a whole still looks fat and bloated. It's like the car has gas or something...no pun intended.

I AM GOING TO PREDICT THE NEXT RICER CRAZE!!
Gaping front ends similar to those seen on the new Evo X concept, GT-R concept, and now on this eclipse.
I can't wait to see kids with a sawzall going at the front end of their civics!

I can only imagine how heavy it will be, but then again if it's 3400lbs like the VW R32, but with twice the HP it will pull like a raped ape and handle pretty decently. I sure would be surprised if this car ever happened though. Mitsubishi doesn't like anything to steal the performance spotlight from their Evo. If people want 2 doors, AWD and a 4g63 Mitsu would smarter to released a limited edition Evo IX coupe...sorta like Subaru's old 22B.

yeah i agree, i dont think this thing will get released, at least not in this form. keep in mind the original 4th gen eclipse concept was also making 400hp with e-boost. I wonder if this 400hp powertrain is the same one in the European only limited edition 400hp EVO 8s.
