the mini roadster i got mixed feeling about. initially i thought OK could be cool but the more i look @ it I have to agree it doesnt remind me that its "mini" but pudgy looking.
the VW deff looks pretty good.
That dodge roadster i dunno either - kina like it but at the same time dont.

most of us don't like it, but the general public will EAT that mini up...they won't be able to get enough of it...mark my words
that vw looks pretty sweet imho
pass on the dodge. reminds me of an s2000 except they screwed it up terribly. front end is nice, but what is up w/ that rear fender?? it's like a shelf. i bet one of their accessories will be cargo netting that attaches to the wheel well/fender and then they'll add it to the cubic volume of the trunk

Dodge Demon
I think the Demon is dead. I read an article on it 6 months ago that made me stop following it at all. The early concept was awesome, great aggresive look, over time as they refined the look it got uglier and uglier, then they started scuttling the engine compartment, then when you throw in all of their financial problems and the thinning of the dodge lineup I'll be surprised, hell chocked if that car gets built, and more shocked if it is fun to drive after all the conscessions they were talking about making between a sporty little powerhouse it was planned to be to the convertible caliber that they started turning it into.

I think this would give the Miata a run for its money if it comes out.

VW/VAG seems to make quite a few of these concepts Scirocco, R32, upcoming R20, Audi R8, R10, S5, and some car called a Bugatti.
Apparently it could go under the Audi umbrella as a Audi R1 if made.
- BlueSport went straight to clinics after it appeared in Detroit. (editor's note: It's led a busy schedule since then. MT and our sister publication VWvortex photographed the car not long afterward in Miami and we've since caught it on the stand of the Washington DC auto show - an even on a higher level now that it's the "home show" for VW of America and Audi of America who are now in nearby Herndon, VA)
A 'highly placed source in the VW Group design community' told MT that the Audi version is "already done". Currently badged 'Audi R1'.
- A production version of the car could be made to have essentially the same proportions as the show car, much like the original Audi TT concept's similarity to the eventual first-gen production TT.
- The same source claims the car was designed as a 4-cylinder. Installing a V6 would require heavier chassis parts and brakes.
- The chassis is steel, but some closing panels are aluminum.
- 2.0T is compatible with this chassis.
