The curatures are rather curious in that they look like cured ham. Oh, I would like to take a scuba trip to Curacao. Is curling an olympic sport? Please don't curse at me, I'm just curious.

Do I detect a little animosity towards Bruce Van? I bet you don't have 2 first names. Why don't you go ahead and get your doctorate in looking at pictures and then come back and look at some pictures, then engage in discussion?

The only reason it resembles the RX-8 to some people is because of the front fender flares. Not many cars on the market today sport that extreme curvature as the RX-8 does. However, as many have said it is more certainly not exclusive to the RX-8 nor did it originate on it.
Very little else resembles the 8 at all. The grill, head lights, hood, side fenders, tail lights, trunk, bumper, wheels, etc, all are distinctly different.
There was one Hyundai concept a while back that looked remarkably like an 8. Other than that I think the 8 is a pretty unique combination of styling cues.
