I would add this to the topic also....

As a collector of Mazda Die Casts I wonder if those at Auto Art would reproduce the Furai in a Die Cast scale of 1:18..

I would be the first to order one!

Would anyone else do the same...?

We should start up a request/petition/
Charlie, how about emailing Jeremy Barnes at MNAO as Auto Art would need Mazda's Corporate approval to make any model first of, then getting Auto Art to make it would be the next hurdle.
Again Jeremy Barnes could twist their arm...so to speak.

I think Auto Arts minimum production run is 3000 units..
I think they would sell like hot cakes....

What do you guys think?

Imagine if they could make it with actual LED's....SICK!!

furai is one of the best looking things ever made... I'm torn between the first pic and the rear pic with the lights... Both look amazing as my desktop. Using the rear for now because it fills up more, but I have to move a bunch of crap to make room for it.

I'm not huge into models... I have a few, most of them of the rx-8 (lol...) but a fair amount of others. This would be one model I would go out of my way to find. So in other words... if we need a list to show interest, I'm down.

I'd probably get one just cause I've never seen the car in person and pics don't seem to give you a full representation of what it looks like. The LED's would be a major selling point and make a cool little effect to have on in the dark.

The Furai is out of control. Mazda designers are really pushing the edge with their designs and I'm loving it.

small little thought I had and forgot to mention... if mazda manages to incorporate some of that lighting (tastefully of course), some of their upcoming cars would look pretty badass.

i just came. Everytime I see that car It just blows my mind that a car can look that beautiful. I saw the car in person in Detriot this year. looks phenominal in pics! Looks other worldly in person. Nice desktop too!!!

ps. sign me up for a die cast too, wouldnt give it another thought.
