Mazda 2 Bspec racer heads to the track- on the dirt UPDATE- CRASH!!

This weekend at the US Rally Cross Championship at Irwindale in California

Our very own Jeremy Barnes will be piloting the Bspec http://www.autoblog.com/2010/12/24/m...racing-series/ Mazda 2 in the Limited 2wd class. The course is 50% Dirt and 50% pavement.

The Mazdaspeed Motorsports page reports they are raising ride height for more travel and they have no idea if it will work "but the Mazda spirit is to never quit!"

This should be fun

its the right size for it. But how will it hold up against the STI and VW?

Despite the crash he actually passed the other guy and beat him to the line to win the heat.

BUT THEY DIDNT HAVE THE parts on hand to fix the car.

Next up is a 3 hour enduro at Buttonwillow in a few weeks.
