my best guess is that they are either ducted from the bottom rear diffuser a la late 1970's Lotus F1 cars, or those are the engine cooling fans. Although i guess they might be both.

the one at the La auto show and cameras and 3 video screens in the console above the radio area. It was also RHD

Hmmm ... looks pretty sweet from the front end. The back end is too boxy ... like a racing wedge. If they add some curves to the back end, that would be hot!
