Except for the new GS and IS, Lexus interior seems outdated and boring. Now with the GS and IS, it seems that after one or two years, they will follow the outdated and boring interiors of the other Lexus cars. Any agree or disagree?

Agreed. Their interiors follow the general theme of their cars-bland and boring.

i think the interior for the IS350 and the IS430 both look pretty nice. IS350 seems like its going to be a very sporty sedan.

 

The IS interior is better than the GS interior, it's a step further, love the gauges and the steering wheel, but the center console is relatively dull and outdated.

 

I really liked the gauges on the old IS, think they're ok on the new one, but I don't like the blandness of Toyota/Lexus. But if you have to have a daily driver or a cheap and reliable car that's the way to go, and that's why people buy them.

 

Those interiors look pretty nice to me. The interior is designed to be elegant yet simple and I think it does a good job of doing both of those things.

 

I got the chance to see the interior of each of the Lexus models and they are very very nice. Also, the quality and finish of the materials is by far the very best amongst all the manufacturers.. Go inside and play with all the buttons and you know what I mean. The whole car makes you feel you are wrapped in top quality materials.

 

I've been inside several Lexus cars, good quality, I love the leather, but they just seem outdated. You can notice the dullness more on the GS; it's so boring, nothing exiting about it.

I liek the IS a lot...particularly the swooping door handles. The light colored interior shows the detail better

 

That's your opinion. Their interiors are tight and well-assembled, but hardly industry best. Audi/VW has written that book, and no one has RE-written it yet.
