Is Lexus imploding?

BMW has always been more about status and luxury than it has hp figures. They make great engines but they have never been the fastest cars for the money or had the most horsepower. So even if Lexus puts 350hp in the new IS it's probably not going to matter whole lot. BMW has done an amazing job with building and maintaining their brand image, and that's the #1 reason people buy them. Take a 3 series and put another badge on it and sudenly it's not nearly as appealing.
And Ford is going to take in a ton of dough from the GT supercar? Ha. The GT was to manipulate the mass population's psychology to get it ready for the introduction of the Mustang. This is not just my opinion. This is a fact.

its true, stylistically BMWs have never been beautiful (i still love their styling) but in reality they are fairly boxy, always have been. But they are high performance, highly durable (well maybe no longer), and have a commanding buyer loyalty. Therefore they are sold at a premium and happily bought. Hell if i decided on a 330Ci instead of the 8 (i was close) chances are id never drive anything but a BMW ever again. BMW is probably imho the most solid mark in the automotive world, and always will be...they never strayed away from devoting their lives to making the cars better,
lexus' motto...the passionate pursuit of perfection...BMWs motto (perhaps unofficial and misquoted) we looked perfection in the eye, and it blinked
dynamic difference there...great now i want to go drive a bimmer thanks a lot

Yeah, and the new 3-series might come out unscathed. But I sure hope not.

Ford really wants this new Mustang to be EMBEDDED in the MASS population's consciousness. More than any other Mustang before it. This is also why, in my opinion (haven't read anything about this), Ford put that super extended tail on the sucker and that ultra plain jane vanilla C-pillar that together make the car look like you can go fishing in it.

Ike and others, let's really test your acumen in future-telling.
1. What two countries will be the two most powerful at the end of the next 50 years?
2. Will we have artificial intelligence of the biological type (as in Blade Runner) in the next 25 years?
3. Will we EVER have articificial intelligence on a computer chip? If so, will it have a soul?
4. Even though it seems they've done just about everything, what will the next HOT THING be in ****?
5. And most importantly, will the all new Hyundai Sonata be an overwhelming success as I think it will?

1.) Do you think they will ever have natural artificial food coloring?

LOL. I do not get sexually excited about naked bears AT ALL.
And by "overwhelming" Sonata success, I mean Altima levels. Of course, it isn't going to beat the Camry and Accord.

The real question is whether the "life on a chip" variety will have a soul.

This is why I'm sticking my neck out for the Sonata. I don't know what the reality will be. We will all see.
And for your information, I only failed the void comp ONCE and that was after 1 million cross references.
