Kenne Bell is simply amazing!

http://www.kennebell.net/supercharge...gt05-06_3v.htm

Prices are well south of $6k, insane power gains for an s/c. With 8psi at 2000RPM, it makes 2x the tq in the RX-8. +173rwhp over stock GT. Beefy powerband.

Not sure what the stock internals can take, internals are cast. Just thought id share. God loves displacement.

Kenne Bell says the stock internals are only good up to the "upgraded" S/C kit... with intercooler and bigger compressor. Upping the boost will require forged pistons and rods.

Is a fmic compatitable with kenne bell s/c? They all seem to use air to water only.

It's just an autorotor supercharger... Vendors on this forum are developing rx-8 kits using the Autorotor SC's as well.

It's the same setup as Hymee's... front mounted radiator for the air-to-water intercooler.

Yea, there seem to be a lot. Vortech, Roush, Saleen, etc. Are there any turbo or twin turbo kits?

Most mustang turbo kits are custom it seems. There have been a couple crtazy twin turbo systems out there... 800-1000whp...

Also you have to read carefully, a lot of those results are with 100 Octane+. No way you are going to get those results on regular pump gas. They were talking like 70-80 whp gain (still not bad) on pump gas level boost.

I bet. Displacement + F/I = hold the f_ck on. I was just stunned at how easily people can make power on the V8s.

Im assuming you are talking about the custom turbos.

What results? The crazy turbos? Remind me either when I'm in the States or Sat/Sun night JST (Japan Standard Time) and I'll be sure to check up on that. There is a couple who run a Mustang tuning shop in Central Florida that have twin turbo Mustangs (yes plural... both of them race) that do the 1/4mi in about 10sec... I forget the trap speed. Both cars are totally streetable. Not sure if it's on 100 octane or not though.

The Kenne Bell stuff is all done on 91 or 93 octane. Saleen too... and his boost level is only 3 or 4 psi with a mild tune. 300hp becomes 400whp. 100hp gain from a totally bolt-on S/C... no tuning required at all (just use the included ECU flasher).

Actually I didn't click over to the ad, and didn't see it was for the 05 GT' Thought you were just talking about the KB SC for the 05' Cobra. With those cars above about 12-13 psi you need race gas. And they provided about a 80 whp gain vs. the stock eaton blower. They had one running a Carrera GT (it lost, but not by huge amounts & one go up against a Twin Turbo Cobra (removed the stock SC system) and it lost, but I'm sure the KB system is a lot less complex then pulling off the stock SC system. Pretty remarkable what they can do with their SC units.
