Karma police, arrest this man (Lingenfelter 2010 Camaro LTA Concept )
Karma police, arrest this man
He talks in maths
He buzzes like a fridge
He's like a detuned radio
Karma police, arrest this girl
Her Hitler hairdo is
Making me feel ill
And we have crashed her party
This is what you get

Lingenfelter Performance Engineering is bringing a 2010 Chevy Camaro, dressed as a Pontiac Trans-Am, to the SEMA Show. Renderings of the vehicle show a car emblazoned with Trans-Am logos on the hood and rear, and sitting on 20x10 (front) and 20x11 (rear) honeycomb wheels.
The car features a 7.45-liter aluminum block engine that produces 655 horsepower and up to 610 ft-lb of torque. The customized interior is supposedly "classic," which could mean a black, tan, or blue interior, machine-drilled steering wheel, and billet dash inserts.
Round, inset headlights and a honeycomb grille are seen in the photos. The vehicle will be officially unveiled next week in Las Vegas.

front end is throwback for sure, I like the front bumper and flaps in front of the rear wheels like old TAs and the whale tail.
I think I like it better than the camaro front end, its the only part Im not so hot for on a camaro.
edit: I see it now duh, its a 2nd gen TA front end (w/ the fender vents) on a 1st gen Firebird from the doors back.
its a shame pontiac is done I always liked thier style a bit more than chevys. I should be able to pick-up a Northstar
Bonneville for cheap as a roomy snow commuter, G8s will drop like a rock soon too

lol the wheels are what was on the 70's to early 80's firebird/TA's. I guess you have to remember they're going for a "retro" look. And yes the front end is a also a firebird. You have to remember that the firebird and trans am were both Pontiac versions of the camaro ... and at that age the only difference really was the flaming chicken on the hood.

When I first clicked on the pics, I liked.
Then I saw OP renderings, didnt like
Then I read this thread, Wasn't sure
Then I saw the pics again. I Liked.
With that said, its still fat, its still not a Camaro, Trans Am, or Firebird, but I would buy this before I would buy a new Camaro, if the price was right

how ******* queer anything with the horsepower written on the outside of the car is the stupidest thing I've ever heard of...whoever thought of that is a major douchebag
Not diggin how it looks either, there's too much going on and it looks like it ways about 10 thousand pounds

The Kevin Morgan version is a million times better than that one. I'd be in line for this. Supposedly, if 1st year Camaro sales were good enough the Trans Am was to be offered in 2011 in packages similar to what the Camaro offers. I was waiting for this since I first saw Smoky and the Bandit when I was like 10. I'm now 33, and just when I thought I couldn't hate GM any more than I already did they get rid of Pontiac and shatter another dream.

^ +1 When I found this thread I was going to post those pics if noone had. Too bad GM didnt make those. If that car were released I would have one of the first.
