I don't buy Kool-Aid
Them M3s are all over my side of town. A few silver ones and two dark blue ones. A few months back I was taking my Girl to work at 4:30am I see a Green Lambo Gallardo and right behind it a dark blue M3 flying up the street. I turn out from the stop get to the light and all I can see is smoke in the intersection. The M3 was doing doughnuts

I like the last gen better, this one is overated. I rather take a 335i with twin turbos and mod it to become a real sleeper. Unfortunately like the previous M3, this new M3 willl not be mod friendly. Its already maxed out from the factory, , regular bolt ons will do little to nothing to improve the cars performance, just like the last M3. I am sure it will scoot lovely around the track,IMO i rather own a Mercedes C63. Way more potential to mod, not so nimble as the new M3 on the track, but not very far off from the apple, some suspension tweaks/mods could take care of that.

What is sexy about it apart from the badge?
The engine is definitely an achievement but what else?
A car designed and engineered deliberately leaving room for the CSL (and probably CS versions). We will soon have 2 tons M3s with 600hp and as much intimate driver feel as AMG models, the North American market will surely be pleased.

That's where the 135i comes in. I believe it would out perform both the E30 M3 and E36 M3's with no problem. And it is probably much closer in size to these two. You don't get the I'm an F-ing god attitude that comes with owning an M-badge but still.
