The current Astons are beautiful cars, but my heart belongs to this beast. The car so nice, they supercharged it twice. Also, the nicest car ever to be fitted with a steering wheel from a '92 Taurus.

Sounds like a very interesting business id say. Myself being a beginning businessman/entrepreneur would love to know more about this. Just a couple questions if youd be able/willing to answer them.

What/How does he charge for his service? (hourly rate for time put it/percentage of car cost/flat rate)
How does he go about marketing it to his network and gaining the trust of his "customers" with their big $?

you might not be able to answer these but would love to know if you wouldnt mind sharing!

Haha, I don't really know the specific answers to your questions. But I could try to find out.

But I think everything started with a loaded 'friend' of his that asked him for help in finding an exotic sports car. That led to another friend of that friend who did the same and so on.

So perhaps you need to find at least one person that could trust you with their money, and hope they will find other 'clients' for you.

There are companies that do this type of work out there. But when you are dealing with hundreds of thousands of dollars, you'll be surprised how many wealthy people would rather trust their money to somebody they actually know - as opposed to hiring a vendor.

So...at the end all business is about 'who you know.'
