for hyundai? they've come a long way.

It comes with ether 3.8L V6 315hp or 2L Turbo 225hp (uses world engine, same as new EVO but detuned to sell V6) *good for 400hp on stock internals*

And yes it is design to directly compete with G37, and it looks better outside and inside then boring looking G37. *and cost 10k less*








The only thing on the car that could be better is front bumper... mainly lower grill

there is NOOOO way that the front competes with the look of the g37.

i've seen some of these on the street. they don't look bad, but the Hyundai emblem kills it

 

Look at the orange Genesis Coupe above. Use your finger to block the grille and notice how the nose elongates really nice and extends to the "new" grille down below that's like the grille on the Mitsu Evo X and the Nissan GTR. Now that looks good.

So why did Hyundai botch the grille and the entire rest of the front end? It's like they purposely made sure it was messed up in at least a few places.

 

They were following their concept really closely ... and because it is not 60k car they had to get rid of the design feature in the center of the hood which went well with the grill and simplified lower grill ...
