How many are also Sport Bike Riders?
I bought my RX8 since it is like a 4 wheel Gixxer 600-750 with controlled climate. I have highly modified sportbikes, 2000 Honda RC51 & 2003 Suzuk GSXR1000. I feel one with the machine like I do with the bikes except I have all weather comfort and can kake by two Doberman Pinchers for a spin as well.
I have a old ninja 500 that i love to ride. As soon as spring gets here though, im going to get a Ducatti or Aprillia. I would rather have a R-1 or a Busa but im six and a half feet tall and the Japanese bikes are just to small for me to sit on comfortable for long. The italian bikes seem to stand taller and have more legroom

Several Bikes
The RX-8 competes for garage space with a K1200RS BMW, a Honda Valkyrie, a Triumph Thunderbird Sport and my wife's Honda Shadow Sabre. It's difficult enough to get miles on the bikes. I have a feeling they're going to feel even more neglected now that RoXy-8 is in the household.
The biggest problem I have with sport bikes is that I can't take two kids to school on one, hence the RX8 next to the Buell in the garage! Seems that now that my kids are big enough for the dirt bikes, my motorcycle time is mostly spend chasing each other around in the back yard. Poor XB9R got only 300 miles this year, at least 200 of them were on the track though.

Moto2 racer to launch smartphone app for track days
The Race Sense app utilizes the inbuilt sensors in your smart phone such as accelerometer, GPS tracking, inclinometer and time, to provide what is in essence a fully functional data acquisition system designed to mimic the advanced electronic telemetry systems of MotoGP and WSBK.
The app is designed to be a useful tool for someone who races for a living and a very fun toy for those who just like to brag to their mates about what lean angle they got at their ride day, and what top speed they reached down the main straight.

My first bike was a 100cc 1970 Kawasaki. I was 16. My present bike is a 1978 Yamaha 750 (mid-weight cruiser). The closest thing I ever owned to a sport bike was a 1972 Kawasaki triple 2 stroke. I used to go around corners so fast that the front wheel would skip.
