Holden RECALLS New Commodore Already
General Motors Holden Australia has recalled their brand new 2 month old $billion Commodore....... their luxury Statesman and Caprice V8 Models...
With only 1500 or so of the V8 models made to date the smell of fuel was noticed by owners/dealers under the hood area, the fuel smell was traced to the gas supply pipe for the fuel injection system.
Although no actual fuel leakage was detected, rectification by replacing and repositioning the hose appears to have solved the issue.

Don't know about that one Razz1...probably sent to Antarctica!
BTW the previous model Commodore (VT etc) including the Monaro/Pontiac (same platform) had the highest number of recalls of any car in Holden's history...
They do a much better job than in the 70s/80s, BUT, good engineering is not just how it looks, its how its put together and repair procedure simplicity.
Still a long way to go to catch up with the Japanese and Germans...IMO
