The tailgate latch went bad on my Chevy S-10. I've been trying to find a diagram or schematic of the latch. It's not in the Chilton manual.

I don't need links to order the part. It's common, they go bad frequently. I just want to see how to do the assembly.

I've Google searched this to death and can't find anything. Can anybody help? I don't want to drop the arms to the latches into the tailgate, so I want to see how they attach.

Thanks, but I've already posted the question on the S10 forum without answer. I was posting here on the "General Automotive" forum because there many people here have multiple cars and there's a lot of knowledge here on a very active forum.
